Brian L. Wells

Brian Wells began his dance career in the late 70's as disco fever was sweeping the nation. He formed the Starliters Dance Studio in 1990 and he is one of the most popular and certified dance teachers in the area. Brian has won numerous top dance teacher awards at competitions across the country. He is accomplished in all levels of American and International styles of smooth, rhythm, standard and latin as well as highest level Salsa certification with the World Salsa Federation (WSF) in Miami, Florida. He has completed his DVIDA Associate Smooth, Rhythm & Hustle degree highly commended. Brian has also completed his Associate Smooth, Rhythm, & Theater Arts degree with the USISTD highly commended. He is currently pursuing his Associate in International Standard & Licentiate in Theater Arts. He is an accomplished vocalist and guitarist as well as dancer and has performed in many professional shows in musical theater. Brian has recently started writing music. One of his songs entitled "My Best Friend" won an award for best new up and coming new writers in Nashville, Tennessee! Another one of his songs "Hold Me Close While We Dance" was recently picked up by a publishing company in Alabama. This same publishing company also signed Brian's newest song "Couch Talkin' " which can be heard under Brian's music on his website. This song also won first place best "country rock song" at a competition held at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. He is professionally represented by Northwest Alabama Music Publishing Company and one of his songs has been played on over 200 radio stations worldwide.

He is also a proud member of Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).
